brokeNCYDE is a controversial American music group founded in 2006, widely regarded as pioneers of the crunkcore genre - a unique fusion of hip-hop, electronic music, and screamo.
The band gained popularity among the young alternative scene with their debut album I’m Not a Fan, But the Kids Like It!, which reached No. 86 on the Billboard 200 chart. Their high-energy live performances and distinctive style earned them both a devoted fanbase and significant media controversy. After many years of activity, brokeNCYDE continue to record and tour actively, proving they remain an important part of the underground music scene.

Dot Dot Curve was formed in 2008 in Greenwood, Indiana, as a solo project by Spanky. The first tracks released online quickly gained massive popularity, reaching thousands of streams and downloads per day. For over a year, the music was available for free, and after its release on iTunes, sales increased dramatically. The project caught the attention of music media and the Hot Topic brand, leading to numerous tours across the United States and internationally. The result was the album I’m Still Here, recorded independently by Spanky in his home garage, expanding DDC’s signature sound by blending crunk with elements of hip-hop.
